Landing operations in Alaska. The beach and the bay during the occupation of the Aleutian Islands. In the background, can be seen many of the boats that make up the convoy. In the foreground, a landing craft is being unloaded. Soldiers worked constantly around the dock until all supplies were unloaded from the ships.
