
| A venerable ox-drawn farm cart provides a colorful background for the American WAC "farmerette" who spends her playtime roaming the Italian farm lands just to the rear of her front line headquarters. This is typical of the Italian families who were left to harvest Italian crops when the German hordes retreated north. They are the two men and a woman standing beside the cart. |
