A low flying SCAT (South Pacific Combat Air Transport) plane mushes in for a landing at the northern end of Henderson Field on its return from a Sky Train run carrying cargo which was dropped by parachute to American infantry fighting on New Georgia Island. The Douglas DC-3 is piloted by a Marine Aviator. Guadalcanal - August 13, 1943
