The Dutch Cavalry Brigade Fush to the Assist  ·  The Dutch cavalry brigade of Ghigny rush to the assistance of the squares. In the smoke a General is seen getting a pistol shot and sinking on his horse. This officer is the Relgian General Van Merien of the 2nd Dutch light cavalry brigade; he was killed some moments after by a cannon ball. On the right of Van Merien Weilling calm and unmoved.
