CONVOYS SET THE STAGE FOR INVASION - Files of convoy ships carrying troops, equipment, and supplies are seen from the bridge of the US Coast Guard-manned assault cargo ship USS Cepheus moving eastward across the Atlantic to set up a vast arsenal in Britain in prelude to the invasion of Western Europe.
