GERMAN PRISONERS ABOARD COAST GUARD-MANNED TRANSPORT - Aboard a Coast Guard-manned transport carrying them to the United States, these wounded and ailing German prisoners follow doctor's orders and get plenty of fresh air and sunshine. Attired in robes and slippers provided for them, they lounge on the open deck. A Coast Guardsman chats at right with a prisoner who speaks English.
