PROTECTION FROM THE "SECOND ENEMY": A Marine PFC sprays insecticide in a well-sandbagged foxhole done late in the afternoon to protect the fighter from malaria bearing mosquitoes in the evening and at night when they are most prevalent. Under the new program for malaria control, sanitary squads armed with insecticide will go right into action with Marine Corps combat units.
