Hot sulphur bathes - Located beside the 3rd Marine Division water point on the SW beach of Iwo Jima. This hole was intended as a foxhole for water distillation units when sulphur waters started coming up out of the ground. The 3rd Engineering Battalion set up a gasoline pump and hose so men can take helmet baths. Soom they hope to have showers set up. Iwo Jima - 1945
